Jaloxi is Creating a Bridge to a Low-Carbon Future

To overcome the inherent defect of conventional plastic waste management strategies, Jaloxi has developed an environmentally sound, energy efficient and cost-effective solution to valorize plastic  waste streams into value-added hydrocarbons.

A chemical reaction happens when hydrocarbons meet water in high heat and high pressure conditions.

  2. Heat, pressure, and water create supercritical conditions so that chemical reactions occur and it becomes possible to upcycle the useful compounds found in the plastic waste.

    Jaloxi's solution plastic hydrocarbons (CH) are transformed into recycled hydrocarbons under supercritical conditions.

    The non-recyclable stream of plastic waste is directed to input to the Jaloxi process instead of energy combustion or landfill.

    Jaloxi’s technology has the potential to process a mix of unrecyclable plastic waste and other organic waste fractions to deliver higher yields and better quality hydrocarbons than alternative methods, like traditional pyrolysis, and with a lower carbon footprint.
  3. The outputs from Jaloxi’s process are recycled and enriched raw materials that can be utilized in multiple applications as a substitute for fossil fuel-based materials.

In the Process of Jaloxi, plastic is broken down into molecules and water acts as a 'change agent' with better secondary raw materials as a result of the reaction than in the baseline.

The end products of the Jaloxi process are recycled and enriched secondary raw materials that can still be used in a wide range of products or as energy.
